There is a connection between success and failure. Significant accomplishments are built on experience – some good and others not. Understanding the relationship between failure and achievements makes it easier to recover from setbacks so you can move toward and achieve your goals.

A critical factor in achieving wins in life is to form good habits. When you know what you want and develop a plan to achieve it, you can create rituals that make achieving your goal possible.

Stating goals in “I am” or “I (active verb)” helps you program them into your subconscious mind. Affirming goals will help you stay focused on your target, not the obstacles you encounter.
A common characteristic high achievers share is a “Can-do, Will-do” attitude. They don’t complain, blame, or get someone else to do the heavy lifting. They do their part and expect others to do theirs.

1. Envision What You Want
The first step is to know what you want. Doing this helps you define your desired outcome, giving you a better chance of achieving it.
2. Create a Plan
The ideal plan includes a formula to achieve your desired results. The winning formula contains three parts:
Foundation (inner game)
Your inner game consists of setting goals, elevating your Worth Barometer, visualizing your accomplishments, programming your mind, removing abundance and money blocks, calming your mind, and focusing your attention, etc.
The first step to creating a solid foundation is to create a vision of what you want to accomplish in your life.
Strategy (game plan)
This is the plan you can execute to make success a reality. A business strategy includes identifying your ideal client, researching to learn everything about them, and lead generation strategies to attract them.
A wealth strategy includes creating a budget, determining your income models, and identifying your wealth-building plan.
Execution (outer game)
This is the consistent action you take.
The best outcomes occur when you combine all these elements of the formula.
3. Set and Prioritize Goals
Achieving a few crucial goals is much better than setting a bunch and accomplishing none. The key is to determine what you want and then create plans for each objective you want to achieve.
4. Avoid Silver Bullets
Instead of buying lottery tickets in hopes of winning the jackpot, create a plan and start investing your money for retirement.
While silver bullets trigger a dopamine rush, they wreak havoc on your ability to achieve your long-term goals. Fulfilled millionaires and wealthy people understand this principle and avoid silver bullets.
5. Get Sleep
While many people share the power of arising at 5 AM, wealthy, successful people focus on getting to bed earlier. The goal is to get 7 to 8 1/2 hours of sleep each night. Studies show that you sleep better if you turn off electronics 60 minutes before bed. As a result of getting more sleep, you will be more alert, focused, and able to get more done.
