What is a Money Block?

What Is A Money Block?

by: Annette Bau, CFP®

Today, in “What is a Money Block?”, you will learn the most common barriers that keep you stuck.

We are not discussing high-risk speculative trading or the risks of standardized options (also called money blocks) but something that hinders your success.

If you are not achieving your desired results with your money, career, or life, a success or money block (or abundance barrier) may be the culprit.

  • Attract more wealth, money, or anything you desire.

Examples of abundance blocks include:
Some examples of abundance blocks are attacks on oneself and others, such as thoughts such as “I am not good enough” or “I am terrible with numbers or financial matters.”

Often, abundance blocks generate anger-inducing thoughts. Common examples include attacks against money, such as “money is bad” or “wealthy people are all dishonest.” These thoughts do little to remove a money block.

They can also originate from discouraging thoughts from different trials and tribulations you may face. For example, thoughts like “life is hard” or “I never succeed at anything.” Even something as trivial as “My spouse is better with numbers” could indicate that you are facing an abundance block.
