Susan Strayer Swinehart was a teacher, then became a reading consultant for a publishing company and traveled to numerous states giving presentations to school systems. After getting married and having her first child, she no longer wanted to travel. Not knowing what she wanted to do, her husband, who was an attorney, suggested that she go to law school. Her brother was a financial advisor, and he suggested she become a financial advisor; she did not know what to do, so she decided to do both.

Background
As an attorney, Susan focuses on estate planning and probate. Susan is a widow, and as an advisor, she knows the challenges that widows may have, financially and emotionally. In addition, Susan works with women who may be business leaders or divorced. She works with people to learn their financial goals no matter what stage of life they are in. She works with her clients so they can achieve the life they wish. In addition, she works in retirement planning and tax efficiency. She has spoken to various groups and organizations and is always available for speaking engagements. In addition to financial planning, Susan also holds security and insurance licenses. Susan has been an advisor for more than 30 years.
Education
She received her bachelor’s degree from Ohio State University, her master’s degree from Wright State University in Ohio, and her Juris Doctor from the University of Dayton in Ohio.
Family
Susan has two children. Brian is a stand-up comedian and an extra in movies and commercials. Her daughter Kristen lives in Florida and is licensed to practice law in Florida and is a medium. Susan loves animals, especially Bestie, her son’s dog, and Kitty, the cat. She enjoys cooking (when she has time), reading, and traveling.
