West Point Graduate
A graduate of West Point, Oscar served ten years on active duty. While in the Army, Oscar earned the coveted Ranger Tab, was Airborne and Jump Master qualified, and commanded an Airborne Infantry company. A love for teaching led Oscar to earn a B. S. in Education while in the Army. Upon leaving the Army, Oscar entered the financial services industry.
Oscar’s love for learning and desire to do his best for his clients led him to earn the Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) designation.

Oscar takes a comprehensive and collaborative approach with his clients. By understanding each client’s unique situation, he can better help them reach their desired financial destination.
Growing up in extremely humble beginnings, serving in the Army, and being a missionary in Uganda created a passion for helping others. Oscar realized his calling was to help those who asked, regardless of their financial situation. One never knows how one tidbit of advice can affect a person’s financial life.

As a CFP®, Oscar works with families and individuals in estate planning, wealth management, tax planning, and financial planning. As a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® (CDFA), he works to assist couples in reaching equitable solutions that lead to positive post-divorce financial relationships.
Family
Oscar has been married to his lovely wife, Rhoda, for over 35 years. They have two grown sons. When not in the office, he enjoys relaxing with a good book or movie, spending time with his family and friends, teaching adult Sunday School, and serving in his church.
